Missing Goat Organic products are made, by us, in our own commercial kitchen.

We pick, chop, stir and even stick the labels on by hand. Each batch of organic jam has three pounds of fruit in it.  One batch of jams produces only 6 jars of jam.   We do not use commercial pectin, but use slow cook, old fashioned methods.  This allows us to use three times more fruit than sugar in our recipes.  Our products also have a shelf life of 10 months to a year.  I believe all food should have a shelf life, and if it doesn't...why?   What's in there?

Making jam is simple.

Making jam that you don't want to share with your kids.. well, that's why we're here.

(Yes, yes, of course we'll share)

Jam
Organic Very Very Raspberry Jam

on toast, mixed with yogurt, with sharp cheese, over ice cream, the classic pbj never tasted better,  birds nest cookies...

It tastes like a raspberry off the bush.

Ingredients:  Raspberries, sugar, fresh lemon juice.

250 ml jar

Organic Blueberry Lavender Jam

on toast, mixed in plain yogurt, served with sharp cheddar and crackers, in oatmeal, on crepes...  The lavender is very subtle and gives a 'pretty' flavour to the jam.

Ingredients:  Blueberries, sugar, lavender water (which I make from our own organic lavender) fresh lemon juice, cinnamon.

250 ml jar

Organic Rhubarb Rosemary Jam

One of my favourites.  Our own organic rhubarb, sweetened with honey and flavoured with our organic rosemary.  YUM! Super delicious with goat cheese or cream cheese and crackers, crusty bread, warm croissants, or a midnight binge in your housecoat with a spoon.

250 ml jar

Organic Strawberry & Black Pepper Jam
(Available July 11, 2011)

Ok, wait, maybe this is my favourite.  Organic strawberries spiced with black pepper and perked up with a wee hint of our own organic mint - it doesn't get better than that!  How to eat this... any way you can.   Buy a case!

It's a limited supply item as we only have so many strawberries.

250 ml jar
